It is with deep sorrow that we at FECCLAHA have received the news of the passing of Rev. Canon Prof. James Kombo, former Vice Chancellor of St. Paul’s University.
Prof. Kombo was a distinguished theologian, scholar, and church leader whose contribution to Christian education and theological reflection has left a lasting legacy. Under his leadership, FECCLAHA was privileged to partner with St. Paul’s University in a number of research and publication initiatives, including work related to the Tamar Campaign and contextual Bible study resources that continue to equip faith communities in addressing justice and social issues.
We give thanks to God for Prof. Kombo’s life, leadership, and steadfast commitment to the Church and society.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, the St. Paul’s University community, and the wider Christian fraternity. May the Lord grant you comfort and strength during this difficult time.
