DEVELOPING A JOINT ADVOCACY STRATEGY ON UNHCR 1325 ON WOMEN PEACE AND SECURITY
FECCLAHA seeks to develop a joint advocacy strategy for its Women, Peace, and Social Cohesion
Programme. The development of the joint advocacy strategy will be a guideline for Advocacy engagements
for the Women, Peace, and Social Cohesion programme at the national and regional level. It is envisioned
that the joint advocacy strategy will not only provide a summary/overview on the UN SCR 1325 and UN
SCR 2250; but also outline the position of the Faith Women Mediation and Peace Building Network as
regards participation of women and youth in peace process in general.
