This thematic area seeks to strengthen youth participation and contribution towards peace in the region.
Expected outcome: Increased youth agency for regional peace, stability, and development.
Strategic Interventions:
- Strengthen and facilitate regional youth peace ambassadors.
- Enhance cross learning initiatives among the youth in the region.
- Facilitate members to undertake skills development of the youth.
- Create and facilitate spaces for youth discussions and promotion of regional integration as means of building a stable, developing and secure region.
- Document and disseminate good practices on Peace, Social Cohesion, and Regional Integration among various Youth Peace Clubs.
